Scan a card, get a contact
Point the camera at a business card and KotaDex reads the name, title, company, phone, email and website in many languages, entirely on your device, and can add the person to your phone's contacts too.

Every card lands in My Network: search by name or company, filter by tag, jump through the A–Z index, and export the whole list as a CSV file.

What is KotaDex?
KotaDex is a free app for iPhone, iPad and Android that scans business cards into searchable contacts. It also scans documents to PDF, receipts, handwritten notes and barcodes, and gives you a digital business card with a QR code.
How do I scan a business card into my contacts?
Tap Scan and take a photo of the card. KotaDex fills in the name, job title, company, phone numbers, email and website. Check the details and tap Save. On iPhone and iPad the contact is also added to your Contacts app if you allow access; on Android, KotaDex asks whether to add it.
Is KotaDex free?
Yes. Every tool is free, with unlimited card scans. The free version shows ads, and after your first export a short ad unlocks each one. Pro is $0.99 a month or $5.99 a year and removes the ads.
Can I export my contacts to Excel or a CRM?
Yes. Export your whole network as a CSV file for Excel, Numbers, Google Sheets or a CRM, or as a vCard file for Contacts, Outlook or Google Contacts.
